Liquid helps drive sales for adidas motorsports.

adidas has partnered with Dale Earnhardt Jr. to create a new line of clothing featuring the Clima Cool brand, and asked Liquid Agency to create a campaign to promote the partnership. Liquid developed an online branded experience that includes a website, a downloadable widget, a series of exclusive videos, and a set of email blasts to keep the fans excited and put both brands on the fast track to success.

Microsite Experience.
The adidas motorsports site resides within adidas.com and it is designed to promote the partnership between adidas and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. The site was designed to appeal to the many Dale Jr. fans by explaining his involvement in the design of the apparel. Besides featuring the ClimaCool collection designed by Dale Jr., the microsite includes up-to date content about Dale and his team, a downloadable widget, and exclusive video segments that Liquid produced specifically for the site.

Online Shopping.
Besides creating excitement, the site was specifically designed to lead to sales. Each product in the Dale Jr. Collection is available for a close up view along with a brief description and link to purchase the items on shopadidas.com


adidas TV
Liquid was hired by adidas to edit and produce four different movie segments that included interviews with Dale and his team, detailing the design process, the benefits of adidas Clima Cool technology and providing a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most successful teams in motorsports.

Race Day Widget.
As part of the overall experience, Liquid designed and built a Race Day Widget that pulls data from a Weather.com feed to show the weather forecast on the race day. Of course, this made sense given the emphasis on the Clima Cool technology. Additionally, the widget recommended apparel based on the weather conditions...which was designed to lead to more sales. The widget resides on the microsite and can also be downloaded to a Windows based computer. Click here to see a demonstration of the widget.

Dale Jr. Downloads.
On the microsite, fans can download their favorite image of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and display it with pride on their desktop as a screen saver or even download it as wallpaper for their mobile phone of choice.
