Some days you feel like a winner.
Of course, some days you don’t. On those days we come to this section of our site to remind ourselves that we do work that wins awards...and gets published in books. Of course, that’s on top of getting results for our clients, which is our biggest reward.
The BMA thinks we’re winners!
The Business Marketing Association presents three Best of Division awards to Liquid Agency.
The Business Marketing Association, established in 1922, is a not-for-profit professional association dedicated to serving the educational and career development needs of business-to-business marketers and their partner suppliers. BMA international headquarters, located in Chicago, supports chapters in the major business centers of North America and a growing at-large membership. Membership benefits include local seminars, a national conference, local and international awards programs, access to proprietary marketing resources, professional certification and an on-line connection to the largest business-to-business marketing network in the world.
Every year the BMA sponsors the Pro-Comm Awards competition - the largest program of its kind - recognizing and rewarding outstanding accomplishment and promoting excellence in business-to-business marketing communications throughout the world…and this year Liquid Agency was awarded not one, but three Best of Division awards!!!
The winning projects.
The Best of Division winning projects were:
"What makes the Pro-Comm Awards unique, is that our large judging panel represents a substantial body of true marketing communications professionals who have the ability to assess both creative and effectiveness. We feel that a Pro-Comm Award carries added value because of this unique assessment approach.”
The Girl Scouts Annual Report.
Best of Division Winner: Annual Report Category. The theme of the Annual Report for the Girl Scouts of Santa Clara County was “The Girl Scouts. It’s more than cookies and camping.”
The objective was to communicate that the organization had evolved with the times and offers young girls a great opportunity to learn skills and values that will help them grow into successful and confident women.
A “perception vs. reality” approach contrasted vintage images that focused on activities that are no longer relevant, with images that are reflective of activities dealing with current issues like homelessness and environmental awareness.
In Magazine. Best of Division Winner: Newsletter Category.
IN is published quarterly for the employees of Seagate Technology - the world’s largest manufacturer of disc drives.
The publication features stories about people and events that take place worldwide, including articles about new products and customers, as well as corporate initiatives. The publicaiton is distributed to over 25,000 employees worldwide, and it has received numerous awards - including a MAGGIE - for Best Magazine Design in its category by the Western Publishers Association.
Liquid Agency. Best of Division Winner: Logo Category.
Reminiscent of a few drops of ink or paint, Liquid Agency’s temporary logo was designed to be reflective of the company’s name - and was used to introduce the new agency at its inception.
The original identity was designed to be reproduced in a wide color palette that included very bright colors, helping the company convey a sense of fun and creativity.
The logo has been recently re-toooled into a more sophisticated symbol. The shape has been simplified and limited to a circle; the dimensionality has been eliminated; the lettering has evolved into a script that is both progressive and nostalgic; and the color palette now features colors that are less predictable.
